My Shipping Philosophy

I’m not an extremely opinionated, defiant, or rebellious person, but I ship what I like and it’s not always (or even often) canon, or the most popular ship.

I’m also never too cool or too pretentious to ship something. Just because it’s more refreshing or realistic or according to some more profound for a relationship to stay platonic does not mean I won’t ship it.

I’ll often ship a character with more than one person over the course of their existence, but I’m usually very loyal to one ship at any given time.

The unlikeliness or inappropriateness or general screwed-uppedness of a ship has zero affect on me. Nor does the unlikeability or even evilness of one or both of the characters involved.

I will always ship what I find to be most interesting. If that’s canon, then excellent. But if it’s not (which is so often the case), then so be it. If it means another character might get hurt, so be it. If that means a character will go from a healthy relationship to a less healthy one, so be it.

Love has nothing to do with deserving it.

And hot sex doesn’t have to have anything to do with love.

(Although I honestly even want almost all of my hate-sex couples to buy curtains together eventually. I can’t help it.)
