Had to travel three cities over in order to see it at a theater with the $5.00 Tuesday deal and not in 3D but it was worth it!

It was just so pretty. I love super-stylized movies with aesthetic appeal, so yeah, I loved it.

I did have some criticisms:

1) Apparently someone thought it was a good idea to make Joseph Morgan wear a mask. It was a bad idea: look at that face.

2) Apparently someone thought it was a good idea to have Henry Cavill’s chest covered in a few scenes. Why would you do that? Why?

3) I don’t know about the Titans. They were…lacking. Even though the Olympians didn’t ultimately fare so well against them, the one-on-one fighting made the Titans look pathetic. I know this movie wasn’t staying “true” to the mythology, but they needed to do a little better with the Titans.

I liked the gods the best. I wouldn’t have minded if the whole movie took place on Olympus.

Athena and Ares were the best.

Poseidon rocked too.

And there were some, frankly, fabulous helmets and hats.

See it for the headpieces alone.
